Why is the keyboard not arranged according to the sequence in the alphabet: Think of an alphabet which is designed systematically from A to Z! How would it be to type with such a machine? This kind of an arrangement is not favorable for the ones who use touch system. Because the letters which are mostly used will hit upon the weakest fingers. Casually some letters may come up to better places.  But this is not enough. It is the most important requisite in a keyboard suitable for the touch system that the letters which are mostly used must be used by the strongest fingers. In addition, the voiced and voiceless connections in the syllables are taken into consideration as well.  The letters of the annexations in a language and their relations must be arranged in an order that will be typed easily and quickly. Because of all those reasons it is not logical to arrange all the letters on a keyboard alphabetically. In those years when the touch system was not known the most important problem of the machine producing companies was the locking of the keys on the keyboard.
